Tips for COLLEGE FRESHMEN part 1
>> May 25, 2009
College is not the same as high school guys.
Face it.
You must take this seriously or you'll ruin your life,
And no one is to be blamed except you.
So here are some tips to make it to college smoothly.
HIT THE BOOKS.
I know you guys are all dependent much on the Internet. But I tell you, what the books don't have in the Internet has something the Internet doesn't have.
The library is the best place for reference on lessons.
Books are more friendly than the eye-wrecking computers and a lot more precise though not as updated but everything can be learned by growing knowledge. The best asset of books perhaps is the wide variations of knowledge stored in it all capsulized in one book.
REVIEWING IS BETTER THAN CHEATING.
Though teachers are not supervising when discussing their lessons, some of them are very superior when it comes to tests.
Reviewing is one way of passing your tests. cheating won't do much, I'm telling you but its your choice. In college, nothing beats reviewing. To have an effective review, you just need everything written down on a sheet of paper as briefly as you can.
VACANT TIME ON SCHEDULE IS THE BEST TIME FOR STUDYING.
Keep in mind that in college, it's a busy and hectic world.
The vacant time is not for Internet or anything that will just waste your time.
Of course that if you have any tests coming up. You can take your vacant time anyhow you want just as long you don't have tests after your vacant time. So use it wisely.
BE ORGANIZED.
During your high school days, teachers were the ones who lead you on doing your assignments and dues. Get an organizer, cellphone for reminders and a calendar to know when your projects or reports are due.
ALWAYS BE READY.
You never know what to expect from your professors. Sometimes they set the date and then they just call you out to report although its not your due. But you can insist by giving him the date again. You can always talk to your professors. And it's even better if you get close to your Academic Mentors.
GIVE TIME FOR YOURSLEF.
When it's sunday or weekends, give time to yourself. Go out with your available friends and have some bonding time with yousekf and your friends.
Tune in for more tips, coming soon.

you can get everything, and I mean EVERYTHING on TEH internetZ srsly.
nice one
yeah. but once you use it with yah eyes you might blind youself in the near future. want me to explain the optical lobe malfunctions due to radiation in the long run??? besides not everyone has the access to the internet in a snap. You need to pay for it. more or less.
reading a book and reading on the intrawEBZ is almost the same. minus the radiation. you can get that "thing" that covers PC screens for around 150php and it get's you the same effect as reading a book. and for the "INTRANETZ IZ NAT A FREE ITAMZ bullcrap": pay for the internet = you get everything and no, it's not the same as investing on legacy plans.
hahah. It is correct. but hey, it's like your professor really depends on the internet. And book exercises are helpful to studying and elaborating the topic more. but i never said the internet should not be used right?? and i never even mentioned that internet is useless. I even use internet so much than books. What I posted are research from the internet, hahahah! so ironic.
